Interlingual addresses language-based barriers in healthcare by recruiting multilingual volunteers to serve as navigators for patients with limited English proficiency (LEP). These volunteers assist patients in navigating complex healthcare settings—helping with appointment check-ins, referrals, follow-ups, and understanding how to access care across departments.

Our team’s lived experience and strategic approach, our volunteer base, and our connection to Essex County community partners will allow us to deliver varied and cost-effective patient navigation services.
